To whom it may concern:
I would like to thank you in advance for the opportunity to recommend Robert Dunham. Over the years it has been a pleasure to be associated with so many great teachers of the game. When I was a player in high school (Royal Oak HS in Covina, Ca.), I was afforded the opportunity to watch and compete against Coach Dunham. His teams were always well prepared, fundamentally sound and played with great determination and class.
Respectfully,

I would suggest Coach Rob as a pitching coach because he cares so much about how you perform and how you react as well. But, not only that, he works a lot on the mental part of the game, which is probably the most crucial part of softball. He is from the West Coast where the best are from! He has a lot of experience with pitching and he teaches the open position which is vital to pitching mechanics. Rob is a very nice guy and is probably the easiest coach to get along with!

To Whom it may concern:
I know Robert Dunham as a pitching coach from a student’s perspective as well as an employee perspective. I took pitching lessons from Robert to further understand the proper mechanics for myself to train young girls to pitch. As I was taking lessons, I also worked for Robert as a pitching instructor under his business name, “West Coast Fundamentals.” As a pitcher wanting to learn the fundamentals of pitching and having the drive to become competitive, I really admire Robert as a trainer. Unfortunately for me, I met Robert too late to make myself a great pitcher in the world of fast pitch softball. However, under his guidance, I am now confident to train young girls the skills it will take for THEM to become great pitchers. Compared to the trainers I have had in the past, Robert is the only pitching instructor who made complete sense in explaining the details of learning how to pitch. With the combination of experience, knowledge, research, and communication, he is by far the most versatile pitching instructor I have ever known. I have been a pitcher since I was fourteen years old. By the time I was the starting pitcher on my junior college team, my speed was fixed on 58 mph. No matter how much I trained and practiced, I could never gain speed. This became a huge disadvantage for me to advance my career as a pitcher. With the short time I worked with Robert (about 1 month) I increased my speed to 63 mph, developed a curve ball I never had before and a change- up that decreased in speed tremendously more than my previous change-up! I never thought I had so much more to learn! I wish I could turn back time to have had Robert train me through my high school years! While giving pitching lessons under Robert’s supervision, I saw firsthand the impact he had on all the girls he coached. Everyone has so much respect for him as a coach and a person by how much improvement they see on the pitcher’s mound and in life. He has that ability to really get through the players rough exterior to make them want to be a better ball player. Robert is a unique individual who has the personality to not only teach girls the right mechanics, but to also teach them how to become great competitors who love to pitch. I have continued to this day working for “West Coast Fundamentals” in the Florida division. I highly recommend Robert as a welcome addition to your program.
Sincerely,
