Quick Tips
The first thing I inevitably hear from a new student is "how can I get faster."   I have seen many different girls of all sizes and
shapes pitch.  I believe there are some factors that are very important but, your physical make up and if you have what I call a
"live arm" might be things you can't control. Every girl will not be able to throw a 60 mph fastball.  You are born with certain
abilities.  With that in mind let's look at what you can change!!!

3 Main Points
  • Proper Mechanics - A Strong push of the pitching plate, a complete arm circle in the open
position, a balanced landing, proper wrist snap, release point, follow through and resistance
    are big factors.
  • Drills - Drills designed to strengthen, reinforce proper mechanics & push to the next level is
another key. You must push yourself beyond the last time you practiced or your going
    backwards.
  • Practice, Practice, Practice - You must put to work what you have learned.  Practice correct
mechanics and it will become muscle memory and then you can work on advanced pitches.

2002 National Championship team.  Jenny went on to play at U of
M where she was well known for the longest HR ever hit in the
NCAA Div.1 Women's College World Series.  As announced by
