Quick Tips
The first thing I inevitably hear from a new student is "how can I get faster."   I have seen many different girls of all sizes and shapes pitch.  I believe there
are some factors that are very important but, your physical make up and if you have what I call a "live arm" might be things you can't control. Every girl will
not be able to throw a 60 mph fastball.  You are born with certain abilities.  With that in mind let's look at what you can change!!!

3 Main Points
  • Proper Mechanics - A Strong push of the pitching plate, a complete arm circle in the open position, a balanced
landing, proper wrist snap, release point, follow through and resistance are big factors.
  • Drills - Drills designed to strengthen, reinforce proper mechanics & push to the next level is another key. You
must push yourself beyond the last time you practiced or your going backwards.
  • Practice, Practice, Practice - You must put to work what you have learned.  Practice correct mechanics and it will
become muscle memory and then you can work on advanced pitches.

Jenny brings a wealth of experience.  She was a NJCAA & NFCA All-American at LCC in
JUCO while also being a member of the 2002 National Championship team.  Jenny went
on to play at U of M where she was well known for the longest HR ever hit in the NCAA
Div.1 Women's College World Series.  As announced by Gold Medalist and ESPN
Commentator Stacey Nuveman " Jenny hit that approximately 360' ". We welcome
